Due to the CV-19 Crisis and concerns about traveling and assembling in a large group, the 2020 Emergency Services Behavioral Health Summit has been postponed and rescheduled for November 5, 2020, in Charleston, South Carolina. We believe this postponement will give participants an opportunity to get back to work and resume some normalcy in their daily lives. The Fall of the year is a wonderful time to visit Charleston. We hope you will plan to stay overnight or through the weekend in our beautiful City. Come join us for an in-depth discussion of emergency services behavioral health programs and resources being provided for our first responders.
Participants in this Summit will include members from each discipline of emergency services; Fire, EMS, Law Enforcement, and 911 Telecommunications, as well as peer team members, clinicians, physicians, EAP program administrators, addiction centers, in-patient and outpatient treatment facilities, chaplains, and other behavioral health providers that make up our network in our communities. We will have dynamic speakers, representatives of multiple organizations that offer behavioral services for emergency service personnel, vendor displays, exhibits, and great networking opportunities. We will address the strong points of our programs and seek out the weak points of what we do. Collectively, our goal is to leave this Summit with a better understanding of the resources available to us all and to create an improved system of cooperation for all who participate.
All who have a vested interest in emergency services behavioral health are invited to attend. Come join us for what promises to be a great event!
