On Tuesday evening, we joined the ladies of The Point for their “Big Check” presentation at Citadel Mall. This photo shoot was to get pictures of the various organizations supported this year by The Point. We received $ 2,500.00 from them in December and tonight we documented it with this photo shoot.
The Point members are an amazing group of women who live on John’s Island, Wadmalaw Island, Kiawah Island, Seabrook Island, and James Island who work tirelessly to raise money to support women in need. There were many other non-profits represented tonight including the Barrier Islands Free Medical Clinic, the Sea Islands Blessing Basket, and Lowcountry Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy who do wonderful work in the community and who also receive support from these ladies. We were humbled tonight to be included with them.
Their contributions to our Team over the last three years have allowed us to help many women firefighters, paramedics, and 911 dispatchers and provide support we would otherwise be unable to provide.
