ARE YOU REALLY TAKING CARE OF YOURSELVES?

A question often asked but seldom answered in our daily lives. Come join members of the Lowcountry Firefighter Support Team as we bring together the major components of our programs on behavioral health to include stress management in your personal and professional life, “file folder” management, problems with family dynamics, and finding the balance to manage them all.

This class is designed to be give those who attend a glimpse at what being a peer team member is all about and promises to provide you with helpful information regardless of your position or place in your organization.  It is an excellent course to assist our firefighters, EMS personnel, law enforcement officers, 911 telecommunicators, and other emergency responders in understanding the myriad of issues that affects the ability to enjoy a stress-free life. It also provides tools to enable you to take ownership of solutions to improve your ability to help yourself and others.

It is a wonderful introductory opportunity for those of you that are contemplating taking our Peer Training Course in October and will help you decide where your place is in this journey of taking care of each other.

The program will be held at the Berkeley County Emergency Services Training Center on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, beginning at 6:30 p.m.  Come join us as we work to improve the lives of our emergency responders.
