As a part of our Community Outreach programs, our Team uses our old fire trucks to bring joy and happiness to others (and ourselves too!).  Whether it is a wedding, a parade, a birthday party or just a stop along the way to let people look and climb on the trucks, we use every opportunity to represent our firefighters and our Team in a positive way.   We also are firm believers that “in order to know where you’re going, you need to know where you came from”.  Our trucks are all a part of history of a Fire Service from earlier days and we enjoy telling our younger firefighters the stories that go with these old trucks.  And, it always gives us a thrill to see a retired firefighter’s face come to life when they remember the days of riding one of these old warhorses.

Years ago, old NCFD Station 5 housed CF model Macks like these and today, we recreated a photo of days gone by as these old Macks sit ready to roam the streets again.  Since Station 5 is our home, it is only appropriate to have these trucks as a part of our Team.  Stop by sometimes and walk down memory lane with us.  We promise you won’t be disappointed.
