On Saturday, February 8th, our Team provided support for the “Friends of Jaxon Fundraiser” hosted by the Hanahan Fire Department. Jaxon, the young son of HFD Firefighter Nick Lubbehusen and Kayla Collins, recently had open heart surgery to repair a heart defect leaving the family with major medical bills.
The Hanahan Amphitheatre provided the venue for this great day. Hundreds of folks attended to enjoy the day and Jaxon was the star of the show. Hats off to Chief Bowers, his wife Betty, and all the HFD firefighters who worked so hard to make this event a success. Special thanks to those who spent the night before tending the smokers as BBQ was prepared to feed all in attendance.
Also, thanks to all who sponsored the event, those who donated, and those who came out to enjoy the day. Total raised will be calculated this week as there are several online donation sites that need to be accounted for first. These photographs show the success of the event.
